Pacbrake has developed a weeper style brake which can be easily adapted to almost any diesel engine. The design incorporates a Standard Modular Braking Component (SMBC), which has several traditional braking components packaged into one small modular device. The small packaging and modularity of the SMBC has allowed Pacbrake to shorten its weeper brake development times, while lowering development costs. Combining a Pressure Regulated Exhaust Brake (PRXB) or the existing Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT) with a Pacbrake Weeper brake, a combination brake is created with numerous benefits and superb performance. As the first company in the world to develop and patent a combination brake that outperformed a stand-alone engine brake, we have the expertise and experience to continue to set new standards in engine brake technologies.
